Original Artwork: Gallop Thru Grit

Gallop Thru Grit is the third in a series of works entitled "The Dirt Track Series" that explores the raw physicality and cultural undercurrents of American horse racing. Fusing acrylic, spray paint, cement, and black ink, the series captures the tension between elegance and brutality at the racetrack.

This 3rd piece, Gallop Thru Grit, has a color palette that leans heavily on warm earth tones—burnt sienna, rust, and ochre—splashed dramatically in the background to create a sense of dirt, speed, and adrenaline. Black ink outlines and expressive brushwork give the figures sharp definition, while splatters, drips, and smudges at the bottom and sides enhance the feeling of chaos and urgency.
